Did you know that you can open your blocks without voiding warranty?

We’ve seen a lot of people say the warranty is void once the EK water blocks are opened. That is not true, at least not entirely. EK offers two warranties. One is a leak warranty – which guarantees the product was tested after assembly and does not leak. In case of defect and leakage, while the leak seal is intact, that is the block was not opened by the user, EK covers all damage to the liquid cooling equipment and any PC hardware ruined in the process. So opening a block only voids the leak warranty, as EK cannot be certain that the block was reassembled correctly by the user.

The regular warranty covers pump failures or anything else that might happen in regular use scenarios. This warranty is not voided by opening a block and cleaning it. While most of the water cooling manufacturers either give 1 year of warranty or less, EK offers a market leading 2-year warranty to show how confident we are in the quality of our products and make sure you’re care-free. Warranty is void if a product has been tampered with in a way in which it was not designed for or described in the user manual. Misuse, modification, handling damage (i.e. dropping) will void the warranty.
