We’ve received many questions regarding the EK-CryoFuel Solid foaming and/or having air bubbles just after filling the system. Right off the bat, we can say that it’s totally normal and it will lessen over time. Solid colored coolants definitely experience it more than semi-translucent ones, so we’re mostly dedicating this to CryoFuel Solid lineup.
Why does it happen? Well, right after the filling, the loop is still full of air, and until the air bleeds out EK Cryofuel Solid can foam more than you’d expect due to the air. After a few days of running and a bit of bleeding the air, it will settle down. Also, it could happen in a turbulent loop with a very high flow rate, so if it does not settle for you in a few days, try slowing the pump slightly. These two solutions have so far been sufficient for everyone with this issue, let us know if you’ve encountered it and have you solved it.
