Shop the Loop - Lucky Seven

The spacious Fractal Define 7 XL case became home to this Matrix7 build, with its full potential on display thanks to the latest EK-Quantum Reflection² distribution plate. No compromise was made when choosing components for this PC, and you will be able to assemble it easily. Once you do, the Lucky Seven build will bring you luck, along with immaculate and professional aesthetics to your environment.

About the Build

It doesn’t get any simpler than EK-Matrix7. The selection of products chosen for the loop is the latest from the Quantum line, giving you only the best in aesthetics and performance. Every component is well thought out and has its place and meaning in the build.

The star of this show is undoubtedly the EK-Quantum Reflection² Fractal XL distribution plate. This waterway doesn’t only look good; it’s also ensuring you can assemble this build with no stress. The powerful D5 pump is covered with a silver EK-Quantum Convection D5 heatsink, drawing the eye to the distro plate even more.

CPU Monoblock

Straight hard-tube horizontal lines have never been achieved so easily. Ports on every product are spaced just right so every line can match. No matter the GPU or motherboard you select, it will be easy to integrate it and achieve the same look, thanks to some offsets to help get those ports back in line.

With the monoblock, we are already guaranteed a straight tube line. EK-Quantum Momentum² ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme D-RGB in the build is a Quantum line monoblock specially designed for the ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme motherboard, featuring the newest Velocity² cooling engine with low restriction and high performance. This is a complete all-in-one (CPU and motherboard) liquid cooling solution for AMD® Ryzen 5000 processors.

GPU Water Block

GPU is placed inside the EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder EVO with Gen 4 and cooled by EK-Quantum Vector² Active backplate set. This ultimate cooling set consists of a high-performance GPU water block and the latest generation of Active Backplate cooling solutions as a single enclosure.

A full-blown water block now provides the GPU backside cooling with its own copper cold plate and a full-length acrylic top. No matter which GPU block or ABP set you go for, it will always be in line with extra ports on the distro. Also, the Vertical GPU holder can be positioned one slot higher or lower.

Cooling Power

With a thickness of 44mm, the EK-Quantum P Series Surface radiators are the absolute all-rounders for low noise and high performance across the entire fan operational range. And this build has two of them – a 360mm one at the front, and another 480mm on the top – keeping your hardware unquestionably cool, while seven 120mm fans in total are making sure the heat is dissipated effectively.

Connections

Every Torque fitting in this build has a satin titanium finish, completing the sophisticated eye candy look of this build. Pre-bent tubing is another piece of the simple puzzle that is our Lucky Seven build – easy to assemble and yet so aesthetically pleasing.

All that is now left is connecting everything. Apart from the obvious, that is tubing and fittings, here’s a list of parts you need to finish this loop:

  • On the CPU monoblock, two 28mm extenders and two 90° rotary adapters are used.
  • The GPU water block needs one 28mm extender and two 90° rotary adapters, whichever GPU block you go with.
  • For the top radiator, an all-new 28mm offset is used for one port, and only one 90° rotary adapter for the other port.
  • The front radiator needs a 14mm static extender and a 90° rotary adapter to align with the distro plate’s port. A set of 7mm and 14mm static extenders is also added in combination with a push-in fitting.
  • The other radiator port needs a set of 14mm and 28mm static extenders and a 90° rotary adapter.
