The InWin 303EK D-RGB – Black case and EK-Quantum MSI MPG Z590 CARBON EK X D-RGB are a match made in heaven. The smooth and accurate tube runs will please all the perfectionists out there. And the finishing touch of this build is an innovative way of mounting a big radiator on top.

Understand the Build

To ease the building process, we carefully curated the selection of parts for you. The InWin 303EK case, with its integrated distribution plate, is an easy and affordable starting point. The EK-Quantum MSI MPG Z590 CARBON EK X D-RGB ties it all together. This takes the guesswork out of getting the right monoblock for your motherboard. We gathered up all the liquid-cooling components needed, but we leave the CPU, GPU, PSU, and RAM choice up to you.

Accommodating the Monoblock Offset

The monoblock is tailor-made for the MSI Z590 CARBON motherboard only, so you know you are getting the best performance and fit possible. Once the motherboard is installed, the horizontal monoblock fitting ports might seem challenging at first. But, a couple EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 14 fittings handle the discrepancy, and the tubes are back on track. German-made EK-Loop 14mm pre-bent tubing makes the process even easier. The reference AMD RX 6800 XT is kitted out with an EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB water block and an EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 backplate.

Aligning the GPU Tubing

Connecting the GPU water block to the rest of the loop is a far easier affair. All we need is a few EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 90° adapters and a single EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 28 extender. This is the winning combination, and we are left with perfectly parallel tubes throughout. Please also note that any currently available EK-Quantum GPU water block can be used in this configuration.

The Top-Mounted PE360 Radiator

Squeezing in the big EK-CoolStream PE 360 triple radiator together with the EK-Vardar EVO 120ER D-RGB fans might seem a challenge, and so does hooking up the radiator in such a tight space. Luckily, our EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 3 fittings, along with some EK-Quantum Torque Extender Rotary MM 14 extenders and aforementioned 90° adapters, solve the puzzle. The radiator is in the leftmost position on the rail and held in place with four screws. You might need to exercise some finger gymnastics to screw in all required fittings on the radiator and distribution plate. But the extra effort is rewarded with sleek aesthetics and excellent cooling performance.

Got To Cover the Pump

In the bottom right corner, we have something hidden for all those who want to customize every single detail of their build: the EK-Quantum Convection DDC – Black heatsink. It sits over the pump and provides additional cooling and bonus style points. It’s a tight fit, and the pump wires need to be precisely aligned. Behind it, there’s a drain valve on a rotary 90° adapter to make it more easily accessible. The bottom features additional three EK-Vardar EVO 120ER D-RGB fans for some much-needed fresh air intake.

The finishing touches

14mm pre-bent acrylic tubing is securely held in place with EK-Quantum Torque HDC - Black fittings. But any other combination of tubing and fittings will work (12mm or 16mm). You can customize the build to show your personal taste.

We wanted to add something to make this build pop, so we customized the HDC fittings with nickel rings and filled the loop with EK-CryoFuel Solid Cloud White coolant. We utilized CableMod ModMesh Pro White custom-sleeved cables to complete the unique look. Mint green lighting keeps it fresh, but don’t hesitate to change the lighting and see what suits you best.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Check your GPU for a compatible block HERE
  • Choose the correct CPU block for your platform HERE
  • Do not use chemicals or alcohol on Acrylic/Plexi surfaces.
  • Do not use acidic preparations or chemicals to clean your loop.
  • Radiator mounting needs to be handled with care. Mount the fittings to the radiator and screw in both 14mm rotary extenders at the same time to the distribution plate. Make sure to rotate 3mm offset fittings properly. The radiator is then held in place with four screws from the back (PSU area).
