Special Edition EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 water block for reference AMD Radeon RX 6800 and 6900 GPUs
The Special Edition block stands out thanks to the black acetal top with aesthetic side-slopes that mimic the new graphics cards’ factory cooler. The top also features an ultra-clean, screwless design because the assembly is done from the backside of the block. The Radeon logo is illuminated by a dense addressable RGB strip allowing for a smooth D-RGB effect.
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 water block is compatible with reference design Radeon RX 6800, RX6800XT, and 6900 graphics cards. This Special Edition Vector water block directly cools the GPU, VRAM, and the VRM (voltage regulation module) as a cooling liquid is channeled right over these critical areas. The water block is in contact with power stages as well as Inductor chokes to maximize cooling and minimize the chances of coil whine.
These newly developed water blocks feature optimized flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and vortexing (dead spots) inside of them. The EK-Quantum Vector Series water blocks use an Open Split-Flow cooling engine design, which proved to be a superior solution for GPU water blocks. It is characterized by low hydraulic flow restriction, meaning it can be used with weaker water pumps or pumps running on low-speed settings, and still achieve top performance. The jet plate and fin structure geometry have been optimized to provide even flow distribution with minimal losses and optimal performance when used in any given coolant flow orientation.
Included Backplate
The included backplate improves the overall aesthetics of your graphics card, and also provides additional passive cooling for the GPU core and backside of the printed circuit board VRM and VRAM section.
EK-Vardar EVO 120ER D-RGB
EK-Vardar EVO 120ER D-RGB fans feature a unique Start-Stop function that ensures the user a true 0db noise environment. When the fan curve is set to the minimum threshold point below 25-30% PWM duty cycle (depending on the motherboard model), the motor and the electronics will turn off and the fan will simply stop spinning. EK-Vardar EVO restarts operation automatically as fan control ramps up its operational duty cycle past the threshold start-stop point. This feature is very useful for preventing radiator dust buildup in idling PCs and to prolong the lifecycle of the fan itself.
