EK-FB ASUS M5E - Acetal+Nickel

EK-FB ASUS M5E water block kit is a complete liquid cooling solution for ASUS Maximus V Extreme motherboard. The water blocks directly cools Intel Z77 southbridge (PCH), PLX PEX 8474 PCIe lane splitter as well as power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module. It is a high flow water block that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps.

Base of the waterblock is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber gaskets.

Water block is mounted with enclosed M2.5x4 DIN7985 and M2,5x8 DIN7991 screws and PVC washers. The 2.1mm nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs are already preinstalled and allow for easy installation.

Enclosed thermal pad is used on voltage regulator modules to improve cooling performance of the waterblock. On the southbridge (PCH) and PCIe lane splitter chip please use any electrically non-conductive thermal grease, e.g. Gelid GC-Extreme.

Please note:
- The largest compatible fitting is EK-PSC Fitting 12mm. In order to use EK-PSC Fitting 13mm (or larger 3rd party connectors) it is mandatory to use EK-Extender G1/4. This extender is not enclosed and must be purchased separately!
