We invite to our team an experienced manager of operational procurement, with several years of experience in procurement processes, from the Slovenian and foreign markets. We are looking for a determined, self-confident, sovereign person who is ready to establish/improve procurement processes and cooperate with the entire procurement-supply chain and production.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Preparation, management and implementation of department strategies and plans in accordance with the company’s strategy and sales plan,

– planning, organizing and managing the processes of the department, colleagues and workflow within the department,

– supervision of work in the department and on interdepartmental projects,

– managing and participating in projects,

– setting and monitoring the department’s key performance indicators (KPI),

– taking care of the recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues in the department,

– caring for the development and career path of colleagues in the department,

– negotiations and communication with suppliers,

– management and control of optimal stocks,

– making analyses, reports and reporting on purchasing activities and their realization,

– selecting and evaluating suppliers,

– monitoring markets, price movements of key raw materials and preparing procurement strategies that take these developments into account,

– management of (more complicated) procedures from ordering to receiving materials,

– cost control,

– resolving more demanding claims with suppliers,

– using a business information program,

– development of standards and implementation of best practices,

– concern for the elimination of non-conformity.

WE EXPECT:

– at least VI. level of education

– at least 5 years of work experience in a managerial position in procurement

– advanced knowledge of purchasing processes

– advanced understanding and knowledge of procurement documentation

– basic knowledge of materials and their properties – especially copper, aluminum, plexiglass, acetal

– determination, sovereignty, self-confidence

– self-initiative, proactivity

– ability to work in a team and make decisions

– ability to manage overlapping deadlines, priorities

– active knowledge of the English language
