It does what it says, im using it in a EK Dual DDC Top V2 and adapted my X-RES 2 very well, im using the front Inlet to put a silver bullet to avoid algae growth.
The only cons is that i can't use the EK anticyclon. (Posted on 10/31/12) -

I´m using this link adapters in combination X2 250 res and the EK Laing D5 Dual Loop Top, from my point this adapter is not well constructed due the front inlet.
The only thing what could be attached there is a temp sensor coz if you use it as return flow, you´ll produce a cyclon right away.... so u can only mount the return flow on top wich would create bubbles in the Res.
