Miguel Almeida alias st0ned, known extreme overlocking guru from Portugal, does a quick and effective performance comparison of EK-Supreme HF and EK-Supremacy.
Test System:
Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K @ 4800MHz (1.36V)
Memory: Samsung Low Profile DDR3-SDRAM @ 1800 9-10-10-26 (1.35V)
Graphics card(s): 2x AMD Radeon HD 7970
Watercooling:
Radiators: MagiCool Slim 360, FeserXChanger 360, Thermochill TA120.3 all with GT-AP15 1850rpm push
Fittings: 19/13 Compression Fittings
Water blocks: EK FC7970, EK HF Supreme-VGA , EK Supreme HF
Water pump: MCP-35X @ 100%
TIM: Arctic Cooling MX-2
Measuring Equipment:
Water Temp: 2x Thermistors coupled to a copper pipe on the CPU inlet with 0.1ºC resolution.
Testing Conditions:
Prime95 64bits with fixed FTT load (1024k) was used to load all the cores at 100%, I left it for a heat-up time around 30min and then Loged the temperatures using CoreTemp for another 20min. Water temperature was recorded with a camera and then registered on a 30 second interval. The final result is the average of both water temp sensors.
